This look came out of the trashion refashion show as an exploration of material curiosity and hands-on experimentation. I used a hammock and plastic grocery bags to build a puffer coat, and hand-knitted climbing rope into pants with an integrated harness. The process was driven by testing and pushing materials beyond their intended use, allowing the design to evolve through making rather than starting from a fixed outcome.
